Kid's Puns

Zeke loves the show on Disney called 'Jo-Jo's Circus'. It's about a girl, Jo-Jo, who is a clown and has two parents who are clowns and they live in Circustown and go to Circus School. On the wall in their schoolroom is a portrait of their president, George Washingclown [The first George W. with a bright red nose on his dollar-bill portrait]. Their teacher is named Mrs. Kersplatzki and she tells the children to "say it, don't spray it". The other day, they had a visitor from Circuslovakia. He was a bear who did an act, but they couldn't figure out his act because he only spoke Circuslovakian. The children, using pantomime, figured out that his act was spinning plates. He was so appreciative, he kept saying 'danke, danke'. [It seems that Circuslovakian is a dialect of German]. His name was "Ivan the Bearable".

I'm reminded of the great era of Bugs Bunny. When he found himself in King Arthur's court, he met knights like "Sir Loin of Steak" and the best: "Sir Osis of Liver."

There is no such thing as a bad pun. Only a pun that you didn't think of first.
