I am numb. I am here, but my mind is elsewhere. I happily get involved with the day-to-day doings of my three children, but then retreat from them in sleep. I am tired and absent, even though I am present. I am fearful of the call from home.
Rachel over at Testosterhome writes today about the sudden death of a priest she knows and loves, and how he preached just last Sunday that being a Christian won't spare us from suffering. It's part of life, this suffering is.
